Slow. Inexorable.
Monstrous apparition of ungraspable size.
Vast. Unfathomable.
Great wheel of eyes.
Why is it here?
Why was it ever brought to this earth?
How could any resist?
What could it even want or need?
Ambassador from god, a spectral nightmare.
Manifestation of horror and dread.
Image of maddening despair, circumvoluting ocular disk.
The air is growing thick.
Spherical stygian orbs peering out from all sides.
Great wheel of eyes.
Colossal progeny of whirling cosmic terror.
Spawn of a demoniac mind frothing with spiteful dreams.
Absolute abomination, nothing greater to despise.
Mystic celestial surveillance, no place dark enough to hide.
Great wheel of eyes.
Slow. Inexorable.
Desecrating endless cerulean skies.
Vast. Unfathomable.
Great wheel of eyes.

Ἡ εἰκών was an impressive debut, but way too short! Luckily, Ψευδομένη arrives to satisfy the urge for more of what made its precedessor hit hard and fast: some atmospheric moments (don't be deterred as this is still brutal, dissonant and disgusting to the core) and at the same time, J.L. is exploring longer tracks - e.g. my personal favourite - and implementing some cavernous lows. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's most likely that this man refuses to stand still. What a pace! David Fischer
